My kiddos love to build and create. They will be using the Magna-Tiles(r) 48-Piece Clear Colors Deluxe Set, ZOOB(r) BuilderZ STEM Challenge Kit, and City Engineering and Design Building Set (89+ Pieces) as part of our STEM stations. During their STEM exploration, students are encouraged to design creations with peers. While the end product is an achievement, the process is equally as important. When students are engaged in hands-on/minds-on activities, critical thinking skills begin to form. Furthermore, these activities encourage fine motor, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, which are invaluable to becoming a successful student and learner. The donations for this project will help support my classroom's STEM stations. These activities encourage students to think in creative and imaginative ways, pushing their thinking outside the box.
