My juniors and senior are on the cusp of adulthood, getting ready to make some of the most important decisions of their lives. They are choosing colleges, careers, partners, and passions! It's an exciting time and often a challenging time. I am so privileged to have the honor of walking with them through this transition time. Seeing my students succeed is the most important part of what I do every day. Even though our school and our students make their home in an underprivileged area, being Title 1 and having a vast majority of students on free or reduced lunches, our spirit is rich and our thirst for success unquenchable. This is not just a proud teacher beating his chest. Our school has been recognized as an AP District of the Year, an A+ School of Excellence, and a Beat the Odds Success School! We belong to a district that has been recognized as one of Arizona's top ten districts. Our students aren't held back by their imposed limitations; they are driven forward.
