My students are theatre students in an urban middle school. As such, my students come from very diverse families. We serve a wide array of students, including a large group of children from a local children's home. Our school is an excellent school, however, the drama department gets no additional school funds to purchase the unique supplies and materials that are needed to do special projects like this. My kids are incredible, amazing, and creative students that have been able to succeed with the little materials/resources that we have. However, I would love for these students to be able to work with some real, professional materials to get a better, more meaningful experience.
