My students are first graders. I have seen how engaged kids are with technology. The iPad in the classroom will build on their enthusiasm for learning. We are a school with at least 50 percent of our school population receiving free or reduced lunch. iPads were in the district's school budget but have been cut because our budget has failed at the last two referendum votes.
