My name is Alexa Trafficante. I teach 4th grade Math and Science at an elementary school in Tampa, FL. Out of the 850 students at my school in 44% are on Free or Reduced Lunch. 27% are African American, 26% are Hispanic, and 47% are other. While it is a neighborhood school, a majority of the students are bussed in from impoverished areas. My job as a teacher is to make a difference in the life of a child and to make them look at learning exciting, so please help me make that difference for them! Every dollar counts 😀
