My wonderful kids come from homes that are always "powered on." They are very familiar with technology and don't understand why the computers in the classroom are so slow and hard to use! That's because we aren't keeping up with their technology speed! They love technology and want to have their hands on it more often! If I can use technology to motivate them to read, to memorize math skills, to see science up close, they will learn more quickly! I want to teach through their biggest interest- technology!
