As a music teacher I teach the entire student body of approx. 825 students. Our students come from diverse cultures with many students involved in ESOL or ELL. We are also home to an ASD unit which specializes in helping student learners who have Autism. All Students have music classes once a week for 50 minutes. I run an afterschool performing arts club which includes drama and chorus. Each year we present music concerts as well as a theatrical production. Our school recently adopted the Ron Clark Academy method of teaching and we use Conscious Discipline for helping our students. We are firm believers in establishing positive relationships with the students and parents in order to achieve success.
