The majority of my students live below the poverty level and most of them don't have access to opportunities to experience life outside of their own neighborhoods. I also have students who are English learners, who need concrete, visual and auditory stimulation to support their progression of learning English and the Kindergarten curriculum. Most of my students don't have access to technology outside of the classroom. We are a public charter school whose mission is to close the achievement gap for our students. Our students have longer school days and a more strenuous workload, even at the Kindergarten level. My students work hard every day to reach their goal of graduating from a four-year university in the year 2030. We need your help to provide our students with all of the things that can help them learn even better in the classroom!
