I love students, families and learning! Big changes are everywhere in my school since we are opening 12 new classrooms for challenging young minds. These changes also mean a new position for me after being out of the traditional classroom for the past 7 years working as a Teacher Coach and teaching technology. I will be returning to the 4th grade classroom :). This is an exciting time, but is also filled with anxiousness since I have given most of my teaching supplies away thinking I would not need them. I found, however, that I was not ready to retire even though my first 30 years are complete. My 4th grade classroom will be filled with the basics of reading, math, science and history engulfed in hands-on learning opportunities and technology-based projects. Parents will be an integral part of the learning process since they will be invited to be involved. This year is looking like AMAZING!
