I teach 6th grade science in a high poverty area in Moore, OK. Unfortunately, the tornado on May 20 wiped out most of the houses in the neighborhood in our small school's district. I had the privilege of teaching this great group of students last year in 5th grade, and will teach them next year in 6th grade as well. This is an amazing group of kids, and I am so fortunate to be able to work with them 2 years in a row!

About my class
