I currently teach 6th graders with lots of energy and excitement for learning! Our school serves children that come from a low social-economic backgrounds. Most the time I cannot provide my students with the same opportunities and education as students in wealthier areas. Reading provides students with the ability to understand life from various avenues that often times mirrors their own struggles.
