Flexible seating allows my students pick where in the classroom they want to work and read. During their independent work time my students pick where they want to work and this rug will provide another option for them. This rug will also provide a comfortable and cozy spot where my students can sit during class read aloud time, writer's workshop, partner work and class presentations. Giving my students choices regarding where they can work will positively impact my students. I know my students will be excited to see such a cozy and cheerful place in our classroom to work and read!
