My students are First graders. Who love coming to school. They are energetic and funny. They like recess. We are a charter school, so we do not have money for outside equipment. Our students have cement and wood chips with a kindergarten playset. My students need more, the only physical activities the students get these days is from the outside time they get a school. Please help me provide them with more opportunities to interact with their peers. To show them what recess is really about, playing with friends games and sports. Our classroom is small, it was a full size classroom cut in half to fit two classrooms. Space is limited so we currently have to put our classwork in a basket under the table or in front of the desk. The pocket charts will help eliminate the basket from the floor. It will allow scholars to have their own space for their work. Right now it is all thrown together in the same basket.
