My students face a difficult task. They have to learn English AND make the required growth a student who has been speaking English makes due to national testing. Using music and songs helps them build language and gives them movement times to give them a break when they are being taught academically, rigorously, all day! This is a Title One school in a low income area and these kids need a little better technology to help them with their learning.
