My classroom serves kindergarten through second-grade students who receive itinerant level services. These students need additional support in foundational skills such as reading, writing, math, and social development. Many of them struggle with decoding, early literacy concepts, writtne expression, number sense, and regulating emotions in social situations. They thrive when lessons are hands-on, engaging and accessible. Even though learning is harder for them right now, they are curious, hard-working, and eager to be successful. My goal is to build confidence, increase engagement, and help each child grow academically and socially so they can fully participate in their general education classrooms and feel proud of what they can do.
