Some of the resources that are in this project will provide safety and comfort to students that need a place to take a calm break. The cozy canoe and the swing chair will provide sensory input for students that need to feel a sense of ease after working hard in our classroom. Our students need to feel safe and comfortable in the classroom and also need a place to cool down when feeling overwhelmed by all the learning we are accomplishing throughout the day. We will also use the light covers to have less harsh light in our classroom as a preventative way to keep students calm during the school day.
