My students live in a rural community and attend the little elementary school that has been the heart of this community for years. Although we are now part of a larger school district, our building is located 6-7 miles away from the other district buildings. This little farming community has grown to include families who want their children to live in a "country" setting. Like most children, these students come to kindergarten with a open mind and desire to learn. Some have had the exposure to different types of technology while others have not. However, they all "grab" on to learning and "fly" with it when presented in fun and interesting ways.

About my class
