Currently our school does not have access to e-readers that can be used by students on a long-term basis. At any one time up to seven students would have an e-reader available for reading. The intended goal is to have these students increase the amount they read and their reading level. By reading with an e-reader other students would not be able to see the material that is being read by the reluctant reader. The reluctant reader would then be able to read books at an appropriate reading level without embarrassment.
