I teach 8th grade in a high poverty area. Most of my students receive free or reduced lunch. These students and their families value education, but most are unable to donate basic supplies to our classroom. Despite the challenges they must overcome, my students love to learn! They approach every activity with an eagerness and enthusiasm that continually amazes me.
