I teach both Visual Communications and AP Computer Science in an Orange County High School. I am a Career Technical Educator, coming from the world of marketing, advertising design and production, specifically the printing industry. Visual Communications is a project based class where each students produce numerous projects using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. In my Computer Science class, students explore the concepts of CS, learn to write code and produce webpages. It is so important that young people entering college and going into the workplace have training and exposure to writing code, and understand the basic principles of computer science. I so enjoy working with my students. As they say, if you love what you do, you don't work a day in your life!
