I would like to provide laptops to my bilingual students so they will learn more English using technology. Using a computer every day will help them get motivated; also they will learn more vocabulary using different fun applications. There is a website that my students use where they can do reading or math and it has a translator. I can see my students writing the vocabulary words that they don’t know in their notebook. Students will be reading a story and finding in that moment the definition of unfamiliar words. Most of my lesson requires the need of looking for meaning of words. Using the laptops in my classroom, students will be able to find the meanings of words they do not know. Nowadays students are using more technology but not all of them have this opportunity. I would like to provide these opportunities to my students.
