My second grade scholars are bilingual education students, currently nurturing their mother tongue - Spanish. Our school is located in a struggling low-income, inner-city neighborhood. This will be my first year teaching, therefore our classroom is still only in it's bare bones. I know my kids look forward to entering a colorful, fun, energetic, and inviting classroom in just a few weeks.
