My fifth grade students live in a rural town in Utah. Our school has become one of the largest Title One schools in our district. My students share our wonderful classroom with around 31 students. Our beautiful school is only two years old. A new school has brought more eager students to learn all they can. Many of my students are from simple farming backgrounds. However, there are some students who have an abundant amount of technology in their homes and others who don't even own a computer. School is at times the only resource these other students have to expose them to what their world requires them to know. I have a student this year that is autistic. Using devices such as these are so motivating to him. All my students love to explore the past, present and future. I know that these devices will be used and so appreciated.
