In small groups, students will use group/class applications on tablets that will teach them language, writing, science, math and reading skills. Through teacher applied and directed learning, students will be able to see the world through the application of technology. Reaching outside of the classroom to a world of knowledge through technology, students have the opportunity to use inquiry, build upon prior knowledge and experience new phenomena they may not have the opportunity with at home. Tablets allow them to acquire learning through computer coding, programming small robots as well as improving language arts and STEM/STEAM opportunities. Students have a basic computer knowledge at a young age but need direction to successfully navigate and glean information for educational learning. Tablets allow students to problem-solve, to learn to navigate materials, to read, to become successful as they deal with growing changes in their daily lives and changes to the world.
