My students go to one of the most diverse high schools in California. Like many students, their goal is to attend college. To be accepted to a good college, students they must take a minimum of two lab-based science classes. In my opinion, physics is a great class because students learn about the world around them as well as develop their critical thinking skills. Providing them with a student centered and hands-on experiences makes this class approachable for a wide class of students.
