My students are an amazing group of kids that come from diverse cultural backgrounds, which provides for a strong sense of community. They enjoy creating and love hands-on, active and engaging opportunities to learn. They especially enjoy books, stations, and most of all technology. My classroom lacks the technology that I feel would enhance student learning and effectively integrate subject areas in a more student-friendly way. My students are expected to keep up with technological demands within the curriculum; however, the technology that is needed to assist them in reaching these goals are not available. This is why I am asking for your support, to better prepare my students for the demands of a technology driven society.
