Homemade manipulatives have become a staple in my instruction. As a new teacher to learning support, there are so many things out there that will help my students to learn! With the ongoing pandemic, it's even more important to have enough manipulatives to either keep in single classrooms or even with individual students. I'm hoping this project helps me to get more hands on tools in the hands of my learners! Learners who are struggling academically often times need to find a different way to learn. I hope these games, manipulatives, and other tools with help to put learning into their hands! I've also requested larger whiteboards. During instruction, the general education teacher is typically instructing other groups while I'm working at a small group table in the back. Having a larger whiteboard will help me to work on more than 1 problem or sentence at a time!
