I have done a lot of research into teaching during distance learning. The one thing I truly miss that I feel is harder to replicate over the internet is the ability to write on and annotate my texts to show students the skills they need for success in high school such as gathering textual evidence and text marking as they read. Help me demonstrate effective reading and writing skills during distance learning! A Wacom tablet will allow me to write on my online documents the same as I would be able to in a classroom and will allow me to truly give students the same experience I would be able to give them in the classroom. I film instructional videos for my students and a tool like this would be so useful for being able to mark and annotate texts.
