My students are Kindergartners in a large, inner city school district. For many of my students, this is their first school experience. My school has moved out of turn around classification after seven years of hard work and dedication. We are making big changes in the education of our students and want to continue our trajectory upward. I want my students to leave kindergarten with a love of school and a passion for learning. For my students, school is a safe place where they can be themselves and learn. I hope to encourage this love of learning in my students through engaging lessons, materials and hands on field trips/activities.
