Ms. C.'s 6th graders attend an arts magnet school. The classroom environment is such that common core curriculum is integrated with an appreciation of the arts. This particular course will focus on how analysis of documentary film parallels the experience of reading English literature and non fiction. Students will learn about point of view, biases, ethical and social responsibility by looking and both author and filmmaker strategies.
