We are two algebra two teachers, applying together for this grant. Our students are highly-motivated college-prep algebra two students in a high-performing suburban high school whose supply budget has been significantly cut over the years. After algebra two, these students will continue on to either pre-calculus, college algebra, probability and statistics, or financial math, all built on the solid algebra foundation established in our class. Over 95% of our students will go on to college. Here are a few more Quotes from our current students: “I like being organized and one big trick that I use is color coding. Using different colors helps me know what info was in each chapter when I study for finals.” “The color paper is key in organizing the binder. Without the paper it would be harder to find everything in the binder. Also having the color of one part of the test / quiz match the color of the packets makes organization simple. My binders have never been cleaner.”
