The 3rd grade students that work in my room are such hard working, intelligent, kind, caring children. Most of these 8-9 year old children have faced more challenges than most adults. They are highly ethnically diverse, most of whom are English Language Learners, and over 75% live in poverty. Despite the daily challenges they face, they come to school eager to learn and grow.

About my class
