We are writing this letter to request a donation of Ipod shuffles for 6th grade programs at our middle school. Each year, we have many students who need help with basic needs. Additionally, we try to provide students with experiences that they might not get through their homes. The demographics for this school are unique in that 94% of the students are provided with free and reduced lunch. The current population percentages are as follows: American Indian 4.7%, Asian 1.2%, African American 54.5%, Hispanic 20.1%, Caucasian 19.6%, Students on IEP ( who receive special education services )20.5%.
