My projector in my classroom has not worked since the beginning of the school year and my district cannot afford the costs to purchase a new projector for my classroom. With this iPad, I will be able to record videos and use it as an interactive whiteboard for apps while students are learning from home and at school. My current whiteboard will not erase and I do not have an interactive whiteboard to walk students through solving Physics problems that require guided assistance. Getting this device will help me to have: 1. An additional screen to share items for distance learners 2. An interactive whiteboard space that I can use to stream to my very tiny display board and in zoom. 3. A way to record short tutorial videos by syncing my Macbook with my ipad that can be uploaded to youtube to help students 4. Provides a means for me to be more interactive with my students and have students answer formative questions while walking around. 5. Use my ipad to measure student growth and progress through formative assessments apps such as plickers.
