My students are the most amazing little people in the world. They live far out in the country, an hour's drive to the nearest gas station, grocery store, or fast food restaurant. They are resilient, creative, and resourceful. Nearly 70 percent of our students are from the Goshute Indian Reservation. The other 30 percent belong to Ranching families that have lived in the Deep Creek Valley for generations. Being so far from a large town these students have not had many of the benefits that students from larger schools receive.
