My students are bilingual bookworms! Despite the many disadvantages that they are facing in their personal lives, they are ALWAYS excited when it is time to pick out new books. The school my students attend is an extremely low socioeconomic campus. We also have a high mobility rate, which has been a setback in the students' education. Our school's motto this year is "Wild About Books" and the children have definitely been wild about them. Also, since our students are in a dual language bilingual program, they require instruction in both Spanish and English. Unfortunately, there are not enough Spanish books available to our students. This donation will provide students with an opportunity to read books in their native language.
