My students have creative minds, and a hunger for creating projects. When they can choose texts instead of only having a singular option, they have unlimited ability to exceed all expectations. At our school, there is only a limited library, limited technology, with small access to them. Constantly, students ask me about book titles, software, or material and for the opportunity to get swept away in storytelling. Consequently, they want to become better storytellers themselves. Many students don't have these opportunities and their families can't provide them with textbooks or trips to the library, so they need access in the school it. Innovation is our school's theme, and I want to realize this in as many ways as I can. We are constantly, striving to come up with new, creative ways for these storytellers to express themselves, and have the confidence to share their ideas with the rest of the world.
