Learning the states is crucial for everyone who lives in the United States. The USA rug is large enough for every student to sit on a state. It is an interactive and comfortable learning tool we can use daily. I assign each student a state for 2 weeks. In those 2 weeks, they learn the location, abbreviation, and 1 interesting fact of their state. After the 2 weeks is up, they get to rotate and pick a new state to learn about. Incorporating flexible seating in the classroom allows every student to decide where they work BEST. As long as the students are working efficiently, they can remain at the flexible seat of their choice, which includes wobble stools. The dry erase boards are a necessity all throughout the day. They are used for a variety of subjects and is a fun way for the students to interact with each other and share what they have learned.
