My students have truly risen to the challenge during these unprecedented times. As a group we meet daily to discuss and go over our daily math lessons. While teaching virtually, I only have a Chromebook and this makes it almost impossible to show math examples and correct students because it is not have touch screen. I have to use my mouse to draw numbers and correct students. As my algebra II students get into graphing and transformations, I look forward to having the iPad to use the touch screen to visually show my students what their graphs should look like. Due to the pandemic and the inability to share supplies, many students do not have graphing calculators to help with their graphing functions and at this level of math, graphing calculators are a necessity. The other part of my project is graphing calculators and this would help so many students, personally. I am unable to cover all students in my class with the resources they need to be successful.
