My students go to school in Connecticut and have many difficulties. Some are Autistic, have Attention Deficit Disorder, are Learning Disabled, Dyslexic, or Cognitively Challenged. This town has seen a lot of turmoil this year and these children have definitely been affected. As a result, school is not seen as a safe or favorite place to be, as it had been in the past. This device could serve as a motivating factor during their day. They would also benefit from an iPad to help secure their skills with applications related to their goals and objectives. Some of my students can not write well. This would be a tool for them, due to the fact some of them can identify letters and type better than forming letters. There are also writing apps that have word prediction software which would benefit my learning disabled or dyslexic students.
