Eager, hard-working, polite, honest, risk- takers. Just a few words that describe the scholars that walk our halls. Our students attend a small charter School like no other in Southern California. Our teachers recognize the different learning styles for each child such as: visual, auditory and tactile. We meet those individual needs using a variety of tools. Our eager 5 year olds benefit beyond paper and pencil activities. Hands-on activities such as iPads are an ideal tool to use. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to have them in the classroom. The iPads challenge them to learn in different ways, and help them become college and career ready. When using iPads students are engaged and excited about their learning. Students and teachers can incorporate technology by using educational applications to review basic skills, write and illustrate books, even make and watch videos to demonstrate mastery of subject matter. Please help us reach our goal so we can get an iPad into our class.
