We always begin each project with a PowerPoint presentation that is shown on my projection screen in the back of my classroom. The quality of the images on the screen is very poor because of the light from the skylights. Students are also unable to have an up-close view of the art because the screen is mounted high on the wall. I would be able to mount the smart board where my white marker board is now. I feel like this would make the artwork and other images more accessible to my students. I know that once my students are able to interact with art through the Smart Board, they will be more excited and motivated to participate in my classroom. I am excited about the endless possibilities for creating lessons in a new technological format!
