I teach PALS [Preschoolers Achieving Learning Skills] , at a Title I school, and in the eyes of my students, school is the only consistency that they experience every day. My students are bright and curious 3-5 year olds, who have just started their experience, at school. Many of them have never left their homes before, and many of them come from families, who cannot afford to buy them things such as toys and books. My students are bright and adorable. They've already started to develop a love for learning, but as special education students, my students have many more needs that the school cannot provide for them to have an exemplary learning experience. My students need opportunities to develop social skills, learn and strengthen fine motor skills, and indulge in a rich sensory diet to help them achieve their full potential as students and be successful.
