When I became a STEM teacher in Memphis, TN three years ago, I learned very quickly how to be resourceful in order devise lessons that were rigorous and engaging while meeting the academic needs of my students. I discovered during a previous internship at NYC's DonorsChoose.org that there exists a community of individuals across the nation united in their desire to support education through tangible generosity. I want to thank you personally and on the behalf of my students for your commitment to our classroom and to the education of future generations.
