My students are always working hard to create beautiful stories, pictures, and art on their computers. However, when it comes time to publish these works to go into the classroom library, there are no options at the school that come in color. Color printing is not available at the school, so this would allow all of our third graders to be able to enjoy their published stories as they created them on the computer, rather than in black and white. It will also enhance their most rigorous project of the year, in which they must research and find historically accurate pictures of famous people to display for the community. This will also allow our teaching team to print resources that are needed in color without having to order them from an outside entity. These resources include color coded editing pages, awards for student achievement, and other helpful tools to enhance learning.
