Students love to use their computers to learn about history! Often we use interactive websites, podcasts and videos for students to better understand topics like the Lost Colony of Roanoke and the American Revolution in Social Studies class. Scholars love to hear their classmates speak about their learning, discuss primary sources and share positive affirmations to each other. Often students don't have access to their own headphones and miss out on learning opportunities. I would LOVE to provide headphones to all students in my homeroom so they can feel prepared and ready to learn for all assignments. These headphones would be available to students on a daily basis as needed in a new digital learning center within the classroom.
