Envision white boards all around your classroom with your own area to express your work freely as a mathematician with no boundaries to hold you back. Imagine working side-by-side with a classmate and having the ability to compare and self-check because you can collaborate. Choose the marker of your choice and express math the way you want. This model will allow my students to really open up to the concept of being good at math. The resources that I have requested will enable me to begin to this model with my 6th grade math students while encouraging to think outside of the standard sheet of paper. With these resources my students will be able to continue to grow and the standard of 'not being good at math' will diminish. Students will be able to show what they know and have the confidence while doing it. The process of the 360 classroom is amazing and with your donations the transformation of the math classroom will bring forth engaged, interactive students.
