I teach at a public school with 415 students grades K-5. The students are engaged and eager learners. At my site, we rotate the classes for science. Each teacher becomes an expert in a particular field. I teach the human body. I have found over the years that the engagement of the students is directly tied to hands-on activities and interactive activities that enhance the learning experience. The iPad has revolutionized teaching. Showing blood flow through veins and food being digested in the stomach makes the experience for the students and myself so real. I continue to marvel at the questions that students ask during the class. Our students push themselves and thrive to learn.
