Can we do some more? PLEASE!!! How often do you hear this request in a middle school math class? I work in a rural, middle to lower socioeconomic, middle school with seventh graders. Each class is integrated with students from a range of ability levels,the academically gifted to the special education students. Our school recently went through redistricting and we lost a great deal of our "wealthier" community support to the new school. We do not receive a lot of funding for extra activities or instructional materials.
