My students are young learners who live in a very transient community. Oftentimes, one or both parents are deployed. They are very lively little kids with not many real life experiences. I try to create a fun, vibrant learning environment where they can actively role play and build language. The kids love to learn through engaging hands-on experiences. I let them know that it is their classroom. They radiate with joy when they walk into their classroom daily. They get so excited when something as small as a new puzzle shows up on the shelf.
